Find Trusted Tradesmen

We’ve updated Find Trusted Tradesmen and it’s in the final tweaking stages. It’s had a new design and lots of County’s added along with their Cities and Towns to help with fetching business in from the search engines.

Find Trusted Tradesmen was setup some time ago to help customers find their local and trusted tradesmen.  Customers can leave reviews and rate their tradesmen and women on all their work which allows those to check up on the traders before they enter contractual agreements of any type.

We’ll be adding many more trades to the list of options to help other tradesmen and women in their industries, and we’ll always be Free Of Charge to BOTH Customers AND Tradesmen.

Checkout the new website Find Trusted Tradesmen and see what you think.

We’re pleased to announce that all our construction related forums are doing very well during this economic downturn and our unregistered readers (of which are the largest part of our total unqiue visitors) are happy to sign-up a free account on our forums.

  • ElectriciansForums.co.uk now has 9,165 registered members
  • TilersForums.co.uk now has 12,092 registered members
  • UKPlumbersForums.co.uk now has 5,738 registered members
  • CarpetFittingForums.co.uk now has 732 registered members
  • PlasteringForums.co.uk (the newest forum) has 80+ registered members

Our member figures are important to us and they have to stay true for us to collate useful information and statistics which show us what’s working and what isn’t.

If our members don’t login for 12 months they get their account removed fully. If we have ‘auto registrations’ from spam ‘bots’ they get automatically removed instantly, should the system fail for any reason we have a team of more than 20 moderators across the forums which manage and monitor new accounts and they do it very well. Should a member register and use the forum for more than 6 months without posting a single thing then they get a couple of contact emails asking them to join in, and their accounts get removed after another 6 months (so 12 months total).

All of our members physically fill in the registration form themselves and we have never added “members” to the forum to increase our member counts.

We only want active contributors, and good ones at that, and definately nobody with a commercial interest withouth signing up to our sponsorship shcemes which keep the communities running and ensure we’re always working on newer website which help those that are registered.

Keeping our member figures true and correct.

We know of many internet forums that are newer than us the industry which don’t have elite spam control, don’t have the man-power, don’t have the experience or the traffic we have, and allow all sorts of commercial interest to be present in their communities meaning their advice could be questionable and biased.

Thank you all for reading, and thanks for registering on our forums.

The Association Between Tile Talk Australia and Tilers Forums [TTA]

TilersForums has been running for some time and is very popular in the UK, so we thought we’d create a tile forum for Australia too, and we called it TIle Talk Australia, TTA.

TTA | TilersForums

Our Tiling Forum, Electrical Forum and Plumbing Forum all take sponsorship to enable them to stay free for the user to use. For some time we’ve supported the industry training by providing trusted and approved training centre’s that provide construction trade courses to the UK. The following are the recommended trade courses and training centre’s:-

The UK’s largest independent database of tiling training providers and courses is held at www.tilingcoursescompanies.co.uk.

Find an Electric Underfloor Heating directory at advancedfloorheating.com. An underfloor heating directory of suppliers and installers should be just the thing the underfloor heating market needs around this ‘crunch’ time.

Listing all the electric underfloor heating suppliers and their advantages and selling points the Underfloor Heating directory will enable a purchaser to find the brand that suits them, and the installer to install it should they require that.

TTA

TTA, both Tile Talk Australia and Tile Talk America are part of the TilersForums.co.uk group of Tile Advice Websites. TTA provides a source of information and advice to do with all things tile within their own country. TilersForums.co.uk serving the UK, and the TTA’s serve America and Australia individually.

TilerSpace provides a social network-type affair to the tile industry in the UK. Suppliers, distributors and manufacturers from within the tile industry in the UK all congregate to chat tile!

The UK’s biggest Tile Network is still growing with all contributions from the members within the community.
