We’re pleased to announce that all our construction related forums are doing very well during this economic downturn and our unregistered readers (of which are the largest part of our total unqiue visitors) are happy to sign-up a free account on our forums.

  • ElectriciansForums.co.uk now has 9,165 registered members
  • TilersForums.co.uk now has 12,092 registered members
  • UKPlumbersForums.co.uk now has 5,738 registered members
  • CarpetFittingForums.co.uk now has 732 registered members
  • PlasteringForums.co.uk (the newest forum) has 80+ registered members

Our member figures are important to us and they have to stay true for us to collate useful information and statistics which show us what’s working and what isn’t.

If our members don’t login for 12 months they get their account removed fully. If we have ‘auto registrations’ from spam ‘bots’ they get automatically removed instantly, should the system fail for any reason we have a team of more than 20 moderators across the forums which manage and monitor new accounts and they do it very well. Should a member register and use the forum for more than 6 months without posting a single thing then they get a couple of contact emails asking them to join in, and their accounts get removed after another 6 months (so 12 months total).

All of our members physically fill in the registration form themselves and we have never added “members” to the forum to increase our member counts.

We only want active contributors, and good ones at that, and definately nobody with a commercial interest withouth signing up to our sponsorship shcemes which keep the communities running and ensure we’re always working on newer website which help those that are registered.

Keeping our member figures true and correct.

We know of many internet forums that are newer than us the industry which don’t have elite spam control, don’t have the man-power, don’t have the experience or the traffic we have, and allow all sorts of commercial interest to be present in their communities meaning their advice could be questionable and biased.

Thank you all for reading, and thanks for registering on our forums.
